New Passenger Terminals DPWL – Defect Reports

The project objectives since 2016 were to assess and evaluate the project New Passenger Terminal (N.P.T) at Limassol Port during the handover and acceptance period and to manage the acceptance process from the legal owner that being Cyprus Port Authority (C.P.A) to the Multipurpose Terminal Operator (M.T.O) that being DP World Limassol.

The project Manager had the overall responsibility of the Contract Management of the contractors’ contract, the defect liability certificate, the defects report the handing over process of the N.P.T from the C.P.A to the MTO.

The project Manager worked closely with the stakeholders and the project team experts to develop the project charter, tools, and technics to perform the scope. The project Manager assessed the data and results of the project execution and applied corrective actions where needed as far as concerned the defect remedies, and any technical information needed for the N.P.T.

Furthermore, the project Manager had the overall responsibility of the Contract Management of the contractors’ contract, related correspondence, the defect liability certificate, the defects report the handing over process of the N.P.T from the C.P.A to the MTO.

The project Manager has supported the related claim correspondence for the cause of the loss of opportunity for commercialization of the restaurant due to the continuous leakages following the applied law in line with the developed scope management plan keeping the stakeholders up to date with the necessary information on the technical, cost and time issues in line with the constraints. Relevant correspondence was referred to in the General Auditor's report issued in September 2022.

The project Manager performed all administrative closure activities, validated deliverables, and compliance with the contractual agreements.
