Contract Management
Biniapi will manage a construction contract for a specific project from the start through to completion, ensuring that work remains on time and within budget.
This role is critical, because construction projects typically involve agreements with multiple contractors, each engaged and coming online parallel to, or at the successful completion of, another or portion of a contract.
Contract management services generally cover:
Analysis of requests for proposals and contract terms.
Reporting potential project and business risks to the client.
Managing the terms and conditions of the client’s contracts/subcontracts.
Assisting the client’s administration staff and providing guidance on complex contracts.
Contract analysis and risk assessment in pre-tender phase.
Supporting the client’s management team in contract negotiations.
Compiling internal and external agreements.
Assisting in subcontract implementation.
Aiding in reducing and avoiding confrontations between project participants.
Advising and assisting with claims, litigation and dispute resolution in a professional manner with the goal of achieving a successful outcome.
Contract administration and relevant contractual correspondence overview and monitoring.
Cost control and project planning.
Claim management – including preparation, presentation and negotiation of claims for delays and increased costs, and preparation of reports and supporting materials for use in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Preparation, negotiation and reconciliation of project final accounts.
Preparation and follow-up of project cash flow and other financial reports.
